Argh! Do the people responsible for this nonsense know how ridiculous they are?

    I think maybe another example of the law being an ass. Didn’t we do something silly like outlaw selling knives to under 18s?
    Throwing the baby out with the bathwater sounds an approriate analogy.

    I’m surprised they haven’t yet banned those plastic “pretend” knives you get in an action Man-style kids toy…

    Haven’t you heard? Action Man has been banned and replaced with Safe Person. He/she/it still has an eagle eye, but it’s only used for spying inside people’s dustbins.
